GlucoTain® GEM (INCI name: Sunfloweroyl Methylglucamide) is Clariant’s new-to-the-market innovative surfactant that responds to consumers’ demands for sustainable products that require less water and less packaging.

GlucoTain® GEM comes in a pure concentrated format which not only creates a creamy foam, it’s also incredibly easy to dilute and rinse, leaving skin and hair feeling highly conditioned and moisturised. Its extra mild formation means that it’s sensitive on skin and is therefore recommended for conditioning/repair shampoos and baby shampoos.
