In Memoriam
Mike Goode who was with Chemlink for most of it's existance, and was well known, loved and respected throughout the Surfactant industry passed away in October 2012. He will be sadly missed by all at Chemlink and by his friends thoughout the industry he served so well for many years.
Solvay (Rhodia Novecare) appoint Chemlink as the distributor in the UK for their 'Industrial Process Aids Division'. Letters have been sent out to all existing customers and the product range will be uploaded shortly to this web site. Further details available from our office.
Chemlink Specialities will be helping the up-coming amateur multi-day cycling sportive event, the 2013 Tour de Kent by sponsoring the Sevenoaks Town football ground....one of the numerous Kent football grounds that this inaugural 3 day challenge event will visit during the May Bank Holiday week-end (25th -27th).
Rider spaces are now full but you can still help the causes along, Cry (Cardiac Risk in The Young) and Take Heart Mercy Mission by following the Tour de Kent website link and donating on line.

Chemlink would like to announce due to continuing success and expansion we have moved from 17th September
to our new offices and laboratory. The new premises give Chemlink twice the office area we previously had and a larger 'state of the art' laboratory. It also includes a large meeting room and demonstration area for internal and external training sessions.
Our new home is approximately 3 miles away in the centre of Urmston.

Chemlink has signed an agreement with the French company Bertin to sell their range of products in the UK. This range includes Natural cosmetic Scrubs, Exotic oils and butters and Fruit Waxes.

(Rhodia , Clariant, Air Products , ICT and Vitec to name but a few). Throughout the Pre Registration phase, we have been in close contact with our manufacturing suppliers responsible for the Registration processes mandatory to the legislation.
We can confirm that we have been notified in good faith that all EU substances supplied by Chemlink Specialities Ltd are Pre Registered and therefore eligible for legal sale within the European Union. Chemlink Specialities have Pre Registered all their imported products (where required) into the EU.
Chemlink Specialities cannot assume any liability as to whether or when, our suppliers or other participants within our supply chain, will continue to fully register specific products. We will, of course, make every effort to inform customers of any changes in material availability or their longer term circumstances.
As a distributor, we are committed to our obligations of facilitating the flow of information both up and down the supply chain. Consequently, we ask our customers to be as open as possible and provide usage/application information for each product taken in accordance with the "use descriptor system" of RIP3.2 when required.
By ensuring this information is accurately fed up to our supplier principals, we hope to minimise any disruption to our customers and the European chemicals market as a whole, and maximise the number of product applications permitted; whilst ultimately acknowledging the benefits the legislation will bring.

A range of Heat Transfer Fluids from Clariant
The range are all glycol based, blended with corrosion inhibitors, and fully biodegradable. The products are designed for use in industrial refrigeration units, Solar Panels, and the latest technology – ‘near surface’ geothermal systems.
The two most recent products on the range are ‘Antifrogen SOL HT’ and ‘Antifrogen GEO.’
ANTIFROGEN SOL HT - designed for use in Solar Panels. A ready to use ‘green’ liquid. A blend of low toxicity higher glycols, de-ionised water and corrosion inhibitors. Product provides antifreeze and corrosion inhibition to all Solar panel installations.
ANTIFROGEN GEO - designed for the latest ‘near –surface’ geothermal systems. This product supports the sustainable, environmentally friendly advantages, offered by this recent advance in heat generation for domestic and industrial use.

Rhodapex ESB-70 NAT is made from vegetable derived ethylene oxide and lauryl alcohol from responsibly sourced Palm oil. It has the added advantage in the cosmetics industry of full ECOCERT certification.
